Founded in 1997, Hyde Shuttles transport seniors and people with disabilities to hot meal programs, medical appointments, senior and cultural centers, grocery stores and other local destinations.
Hyde Shuttles helps you stay connected to the larger world for free!
The Hyde Shuttle program is named in honor of Lillian May Hyde, a longtime Seattle resident whose generous bequest provides funding for the Hyde Shuttles and aids countless seniors and people with disabilities in our community. It now receives support from federal, state and local funds, as well as from private donors.
The service operates from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone within King County aged 55 and over or with a disability is eligible to use the service.
All the Hyde Shuttle vans are wheelchair and lift equipped. Our drivers are committed to providing kind and compassionate service.
Hyde Shuttles is a program of Sound Generations, a nonprofit that manages several senior centers, Meals on Wheels, Minor Home Repair, nutrition programs, and other services for seniors. For more information about Sound Generations and its other programs, visit https://soundgenerations.org/.
